Massachusetts Organization of State Engineers and Scientists (MOSES) endorses Will Mbah

Somerville - Will Mbah’s campaign for City Council At Large announced that Will has received the endorsement of the Massachusetts Organization of State Engineers and Scientists. “I am so pleased to have the support of MOSES, my union since I’ve worked at Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection,” said Mbah. “I hope to find new ways to collaborate with experts in many fields in the Somerville City Council next year.”

MOSES President Patrick Russell writes: Congratulations! The Massachusetts Organization of State Engineers and Scientists (MOSES) has voted to endorse your campaign for City Councilor at Large for the City of Somerville. As you know, MOSES represents over 3,500 dedicated public employees of the Commonwealth who perform vital work at 30 state agencies. Our membership includes construction and civil engineers at the Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT), environmental engineers and Hazardous Materials Team members at the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), regional planners at the Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR), water quality scientists at the Massachusetts Water Resources Authority (MWRA), and wage enforcement inspectors at the Attorney General’s Office. Regardless of their specific job duties, all our members share a common commitment to enhancing the quality of life in Massachusetts.

We are proud to stand with you, as you continue to fight for working families, stand up for progressive issues and advocate for the protection of our precious natural resources. Your strong support for labor and collective bargaining rights as well as your opposition to privatization of public services, make you the clear choice for our endorsement. As a MOSES member and Steward of our organization we are honored to support your campaign for City Councilor at Large in Somerville. We look forward to working with you as you continue to advocate for policies that protect hard working public employees and stand up for the issues important to MOSES members and all workers.
